Mawgan Porth had an exciting visit to the church this week where were were learning all about Christingles. The children made their own Christingle and sang their Angel's Song for all the parents. It was interesting to learn about what all the parts of a Christingle stood for.
We worked on our Science questions this week. We wanted to see how absorbent the tube of pretend snow was going to be. We had to add the water 50ml at a time. We made a graph to show how the snow changed.
We talked about using our senses to notice changes. We put on our goggles to protect our eyes and used a magnifying glass to have a closer look. It was very exciting.

We have been learning to tell the time in Maths. The class have looked at the hour hand and the minute hand, learnt about clockwise and anti-clockwise and have talked about what they do at different times of the day. We have worked on the o'clock and half past times. It was a bit tricky for some of us.
