In line with government guidance, from September we will be welcoming all registered pupils to our schools.

Wk ending 29th September 2017

This week in our literacy lessons, we have been writing our own version of the Fantastic Mr Fox story. We have been writing separate paragraphs every day throughout the week. We have been trying to include exciting verbs, adverbs, adjectives, where adverbial phrases; as well as making sure we use our capital letters and full stops correctly. Some of us are starting to use commas too!
In maths we have been looking at addition and subtraction, using the formal column methods, as well as looking at different diagrams, such as bead sticks, place value counters and number lines.
In our topic lessons this week we have been finding out about Cornish tin mines in preparation for our visit to Geevor next Wednesday.
