In science this week the children have planted their own bean plants! We will be monitoring the bean plants and recording their progress with a bean diary. They will take them home in half term and have to bring them back before the term starts again. They also set up an investigation to find out what plants needs to survive. This should help them when they have to look after their beans!

The children have enjoyed a drama packed week immersing them in the diary of King Midas. They will be innovating and writing their own diary entries next week.

They have been working hard in their maths lessons on fractions. Finding fractions of amounts and learning about equivalent fractions have been the topic focuses.

Spelling and times tables tests have now been moved to Friday. I will be collecting homework books in on Monday to see how the class are getting on.

Have a cracking weekend,

Class Crantock
