Congratulations to our award winners for their hard work this week.

What a busy but amazing week we had had.
During maths we have been looking at numbers up to 10,000 on a number line. We went outside for some of this and used a human number line and also the gazebo to help us.

In literacy we finished writing our own natural disaster story and then we edited it with our partner. We had some great stories, using amazing language and wonderful ideas. We focused on using senses to help describe and adding a question to build the suspense.

We also started to practice our Christmas Show. This is on 13th December.

Alongside all of this we have also learnt about Remembrance Day and the reason behind wearing poppies. We designed and made our own poppy.
It was anti-bullying week and also world kindness day. We made anti-bullying posters that are being looked at for the best poster in each class. We also wrote something nice about each other on post-it notes and stuck it to each others arms.

On Friday everyone was looking very spotty! It was children in need so we looked at the history of children in need and found out that over £800 million has been raised so far. We also learnt that Pudsey Bear was not always yellow!

Next week we are learning out 11 times table and our words of the week are experience, extreme, exercise and experiment.
We will also be starting to look at the water cycle in science. I can't wait to hear what you already know about this.
