Happy Summer Holiday - keep safe and sound. Looking forward to seeing children and families back to school on Thursday 5th September 2019

Wk ending 16.11.18

The children have worked so hard this week and I am so proud of them.

In math's this week the children have been learning their 8 times table, and applying this knowledge to solve a range of problems.

In literacy the children learnt a story called The Magic Brush, they have been very creative this week and have adapted the story, changing various aspects to make it more exciting! I have been very impressed with their story writing this week.

Earlier this week we learnt about Remembrance and the importance of wearing poppies at this time of year, the class made beautiful poppy wreaths which are hung up in the classroom.

Throughout the week we have been learning about Diwali and creating our own rangoli patterns.

On Friday we celebrated Children in need, we discussed issues like kindness, bullying and things we are grateful for.

As you can see its been a busy week! I hope you all have a relaxing weekend!
