Our Trip to Ennis Barton Farm
On Wednesday morning we went to Ennis Barton Farm, near Fraddon, as part of the Kingfisher Award. We had an amazing time, looking at three different habitats on the farm and finding out first hand about the animals and plants that live there, reinforcing the learning we had been doing at school in Science.
In groups, we visited woodland, the stream and open fields - also learning about how the farm uses and protects the environment, without harming or destroying it.
This was a fantastic experience and our thanks go to the Kingfisher Award for organising this event. As part of this, all schools who have attended will be doing a presentation based on our learning on 10th July at Indian Queens Working Men's Club, where parents and children are invited to attend to view the work produced.
