This week we have spent a lot of time practising for our Christmas show 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. Our performance was on Thursday evening. A big thank you to everyone who cam to watch. The children worked extremely hard on their parts, whether speaking, dancing or singing and we are proud of everything they achieved.
This week in our lessons, our learning has been linked to the theme of Christmas.

In RE, we have been finding out about Christmas journeys, discussing how we think Mary and Joseph might be feeling as they journeyed from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

In Literacy, we have been looking at some Christmas and Winter poems. We have thought about how to read them with expression, as well as discussing what they mean and why the poet has chosen particular words or phrases.

In Maths, we practised looking at different graphs, answering questions about the facts they were telling us. We then did a tally chart on our favourite Christmas songs and put this information into our own graphs.
