The first thing I must say is a massive WELL DONE to all of the children for their amazing Nativity. They sang their hearts out and knew all of their words; I am one proud teacher, and you must be extremely proud parents. They were amazing. Thank you all for coming along and supporting them.
This week we have been getting in the Christmas spirit with lots of activities. The children have continued building and wrapping presents at the Elves Workshop and writing gift labels for their presents. They have developed their fine motor skills through making Christmas paper chains and exploring our sensory trays.
This week also allowed the children to meet their new teacher. He read them a wonderful Christmas story and the children really enjoyed it. Thank you to the parents who came to meet him. He will see you on the first day back in January.
Wednesday was Christmas dinner, where we all felt extremely festive enjoying our lunch with Christmas music and crackers. Friday was Christmas jumper day for Save the Children, thank you to those who donated to this wonderful cause.
Next week we will be continuing the Christmas festivities with parties and activities. Don't forget we break up at 2pm on Wednesday.
