Parent Open Afternoon has changed from Monday 1st July to Monday 8th July, this is due to Active Week

Wk ending 12th October 2018

For our maths lesson on Monday, Pentire class learnt about 3D shapes and how they are built using nets. To explore our understanding, the children were given a series of nets to make pyramids. They had to predict which net would successfully create a pyramid, cut out and build the pyramid. We really enjoyed taking a more practical approach to our learning in maths.

In the afternoon, we participated in the KS2 harvest festival down in the church. Pentire’s role in the service involved reading an acrostic poem we had learnt in school. It was wonderful to see the children confident when performing in front of a large audience. Well done to everyone in Pentire for their effort in the service and the excellent behaviour inside the church.
