Another busy and fun week for Crantock filled with the excitement of Christingle, maps and Mr Nash visiting us for French!

The children have loved exploring the atlas and finding out about where all the countries are in Europe, comparing physical and human features and looking at my enormous OS map.  We have talked about why and when we need maps with most of the children being familiar with google maps!

As ever, the children were very excited for Mr Nash's visit.  This week they carried on working on the song head, shoulders, knees and toes in French!  They did a marvelous performance for me, I was most impressed.

The week ended with a wonderful Christingle celebration.  The children behaved exceptionally well walking to and from the church and singing their hearts out during the service.

This weeks homework is for the children to learn the first and last verse of, 'A visit from St Nicholas,' and to learn their groups verse.  They will also have a copy of the song words so they will need to practise them as well.

Dojo awards:

Have a wonderful weekend,
Class Crantock!
