Another exciting week in Mawgan Porth Class! This week we have been learning all about shape in Maths. There were some criminal 3D shapes on the loose and we had to describe the properties of the shapes on Wanted! posters so that they could be caught!

In Literacy we have been writing detailed instructions on how to get ready for school. We learnt that you need a title, introduction and equipment list when writing a set of instructions and must use time connectives and imperative verbs to make sure the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

We concluded our rainfall science experiment by collecting in our rain catchers. We were very excited to write up the interesting results of our investigation. There were different amounts of rainfall in different places around the school!

Our Christmas play rehearsals have begun- well done to all the children who are learning all their lines!
Congratulations to our Pupil Achievement awards- Rafferty Hearn for always challenging himself in Maths and Freya Hindley for showing super listening on the carpet!
Due to Nativity rehearsals PE will be taught at different times throughout the final weeks of this term. We will be doing Yoga and Dance sessions.
