In line with government guidance, from September we will be welcoming all registered pupils to our schools.

Week ending 28th March 2018

Well it has been a short week for us in Fistral class but we have still managed to pack lots of exciting learning in.
In Literacy, we have been writing different parts of our adventure story focusing on key points such as problems and resolutions to ensure that it is interesting to read. We are incorporating inverted commas, contractions and possessive apostrophes confidently into our writing now.
In Maths we are learning how to use the bar model to help solve fraction problems. Have a look at the video to see how we have been learning it.
We reached the end of our 'Computer Art' unit where we created our own masterpieces using all the new skills we have learnt. There were some great pictures and the children were very pleased with what they achieved.

Holiday Homework - You will find an Easter Revision booklet in your child's homework folder. Please continue to read at home and complete the work set in the orange homework book.

Reminder
Our Summer term begins on Tuesday 17th April 2018. We have a SAT's information meeting on Friday 20th April which will provide you with the opportunity to look through some past papers and talk through any questions you may have regarding the KS1 SAT's tests.

Have a great holiday.
