Happy Summer Holiday - keep safe and sound. Looking forward to seeing children and families back to school on Thursday 5th September 2019

Week ending 16.11.18

This week in Fistral, we have been writing diary entries in Literacy. We have tried to imagine what Thomas Farynor would write each day if he kept a diary during the Great Fire of London. We have included thoughts and feelings, questions and statements about what is happening.
In Maths, we have been dividing numbers in to equal groups and dividing by grouping. We have found it a bit tricky but we will be practicing lots more as the term goes on.
We have been rehearsing our songs for our Christmas play - scripts will be coming home on Monday. Scripts will need to come into school each day as we will be practicing as much as possible during the school day. Our Christmas performance is on Tuesday 11th December 2018 at 2pm. We hope you can make it along.
As part of Anti-Bullying week, we had a circle time about what bullying actually means and what we can do if we are being bullied or if we see someone being bullied. We designed posters for a Stay Safe Mentors competition, fingers crossed they like our designs!
Next week is Parents evening so there are no after school clubs but external clubs like dance will still be running. If you haven't booked an appointment yet please do so - booking closes on Sunday.
