Week Ending 14th December 2018

What an exciting week it has been in Mawgan Porth class! We have been working really hard to practice our Christmas play. Well done to all the children who have been learning their lines!

In maths we have been thinking about what we already know and using this knowledge to solve problems. We have also been counting in twos, fives, tens and twenties, starting from any number!

Our Christmas story 'A Christmas Collar' has lead to some excellent descriptive writing. We used our language to describe a winter setting- 'tall, bare trees', 'special, gold collar' and 'spooky house' were some of the amazing words used.

In RE we have been thinking about why Christian's give gifts at Christmas and how it feels to give and receive gifts.

The Christmas play was a fantastic achievement for all- well done everyone!

Photographs from the Eden Project will be online by next week :)
Congratulations to Ava Sanders and Ellie McAvoy for showing super effort in writing and focused behaviour during learning.
