Well done to all of Porthpean class for what has been a busy, exciting and considerate week. This kicked off on Monday when we learnt about being more considerate towards others for World Kindness Day. I was impressed by the extra effort lots of class members made in being thoughtful towards each other and the value of paying compliments. Most managed to keep the momentum of saying kind things to each other all week!
Wednesday was odd socks day. Everyone was asked to wear a mismatch pair in aid of Ant- Bullying week, to symbolise that we all different. Again, there were some very positive outcomes from our learning about looking after others and considering each others feelings.
Friday was an own clothes day for a donation towards Children in Need. Thank you for all the money that was brought in for this charity. The children learnt more about others who are less fortunate than themselves, and the importance of supporting and caring for others in our communities.
I hope these positive attitudes and acts of kindness have a long lasting affect on all, and I look forward to seeing this continue throughout our time together in Year 4!
