A sunny start to our new half term!
Friday has yet again come very quickly, and I am still pinching myself that this is only the first week back. The children, have yet gain, settled into a good routine and are working really hard to impress and try their best in their subjects. Our outside PE lessons will be football on the field for trhis half term which will be led by an expert football coach. Each week, a new skill will be learnt and a match will take place at the end of each session.
The Buddhism topic of learning came to an end this week with the making of some very creative water baskets which are used for the celebration of Loy Krathong. We also learnt about the Buddhist New Year 'Sangkron' and the imprtance of water at this festival.
Thanks to all the wonderful homework efforts that are coming in to school, they are very imopressive and it is clear to see that a lot of learning and disccussions about the topic has take place.
