June 2019

Into the Wild
Lusty Glaze had a great start to this half term with a trip to Trevuanance Cove, St Agnes to investigate the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed rock-pooling and discovered many different creatures which we identified using our classification guides.
We also explored the beach and created a variety of sand sculptures using things we found on the beach, we had a wonderful array of turtles, sharks, dolphins, mermaids and even a boat we could sit in.
During the late morning we were blessed with enough sunshine to create sundials. (Unfortunately the weather changed and we weren't able to check the changes when we returned to them!)
Farm & Country
We have had a great visit from Emma Parkyn from Farm and Country. We learning about where our food comes from and the processes which it goes through to reach us. We milked Demelza, created our favourite breakfasts, popped rapeseed oil seeds to discover they were bright yellow inside and that sometimes chickens lay green eggs!!
