In line with government guidance, from September we will be welcoming all registered pupils to our schools.

Week ending 06.07.18

Despite there being less than 3 weeks left we have been incredibly busy this week. We started  with our trip to Charlestown on Monday where we went to the Shipwreck centre to learn about different objects found under the sea and many different ships in voyage. We also went down a dark tunnel to look out over the harbour and saw the old China clay shoots which went down the ships. We then went down to the beach to eat our lunch and had a paddle. We then to the other beach to make sculptures out of things we found on the beach and had another paddle! Everyone had a fantastic day (adults included)!
On Tuesday Teo, Aronas, Ellie and Annabel represented Holywell in the ACE sports day at St Agnes, you may have spotted them on spotlight news that evening. Well done to all, they were a credit to us.
We have been writing recounts this week about our day at the beach and sports day and we have been doing some sketching of sea scenes and how to draw the perfect sandcastle.
Each afternoon we have been out in the field practicing for sports day and doing bat and ball games with Beth.
The children made us incredibly proud today during sports day. Everyone had a go at everything and enjoyed our traditional sports day races. Well done to parents who raced too! We hope you enjoyed the morning, thank for coming.
Next Friday the 13th is our summer Fayre, if your child is able to help run Holywell stall please let me know. Thank you.
Also in the newsletter it says next year's class teachers. Holywell class will be moving up to Miss Brogden. They will be with her Friday morning 10am - lunchtime for a transition morning.
