What a busy week it's been! Well done to Miah and Aronas for their perseverance certificates.
Thank you for coming to the parents information meeting, I hope you found it useful, the powerpoint and curriculum information can be found below. If you have any questions please come and ask me or send a dojo message.
The children have been very busy this week starting their Supertato story in literacy, they've begun to learn the story by heart with actions, have a look at the pictures to see the first draft story map and see what they can remember. We also made our own Supertatoes with real potatoes!
The children focused on balancing in P.E creating some sequences in groups. They came up with some very creative balances.
Whilst half the class have been our enjoying Forest School the other half of the children have been completing their first science experiment about Gravity having learnt about Isaac Newton. They were investigating whether paperclips made their spinner fall faster, the children will be doing different investigations each week.
Swimming starts next Tuesday. If you haven't already, please return swimming permission slips on Monday.
Our Harvest Festival is on Wednesday, we are learning the song Cauliflowers Fluffy to sing to everyone, the video is below if you'd like to learn it too and to help children remember it. If you're able to meet us earlier at school on Wednesday and help us walk down to the church (and back again) please let myself or Mrs Rickard know.
