February 2019

We hope you had a lovely restful half-term break.

In Maths, we have been looking at perimeter.  We have used rulers to measure in the classroom and had a fun lesson drawing large shapes in the playground.

In Literacy, we are starting on a story called Lost and Found and really concentrating on feelings and emotions.  You can have a look at the story it is based on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRAAQ8EWzig

In Science we are continuing to look at forces.  Especially magnetism. This links in brilliantly with our topic of "Pole to Pole".

Reminder - We have had lots of fantastic homework in.  Well done.  Those who have been a little slow starting, still have time to get some fantastic work in before Easter. They will need to complete 10 pieces of homework over the whole Spring Term.  I look forward to seeing what they do!  They can bring each piece in as they complete it and it will be marked and returned straight away.  No need to wait to hand it in.

Well done all, still going strong.
