Class Crantock couldn't believe their luck when it was announced that Monday was to be another snow day! The children had fun in the snow over the weekend and enjoyed sharing their stories with each other.
In literacy they have been learning about the features of a debate and have been thinking about whether New Zealand should have a new flag. This is linked with their topic work and a recent lesson they did on the flag of New Zealand.
They have tried really hard to learn the written methods for multiplication. It would be great if they could practise the grid method, expanded method and short method at home!
This Friday the children performed in a violin concert to their parents. They did a fantastic job and showed such brilliant listening skills. They performed a range of songs they have learnt.
I really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm and brilliant sporting gear the children were wearing on Friday for Sport Relief. Some of the children were excited to take part in the disco skip at lunch time and showed off their skills.
Have a brilliant weekend,
